Maria Sampathianaki earned a plant protection diploma as an agronomist at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, then worked on plant protection and organic farming in the Agricultural Department of the Region of Crete in Chania. Since 2020, Mrs. Sampathianaki has been working as an agronomist responsible for hydroponics in the Department of Horticultural Genetics and Biotechnology at the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania. She assisted with stakeholder surveys and B2B event and innovation catalogue preparation for LIVINGAGRO and continues to contribute to the project in various ways.
