Eng. Obeidat obtained his bachelor’s degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), majoring in Natural Resources and Environment and specializing in Rangeland Management and Forestry. In 2008 he started working in many Agricultural Directorates in the Department of Rangeland and Forestry as a Rangeland and Forestry Engineer at the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA). In 2013 he finished his Master’s degree in Integrated Natural Resource Management at Jordan University of Science and Technology. Since 2018 he has done research on rangeland and forestry at the National Agricultural Research Center (NARC /Jordan) as a senior researcher in the Biodiversity & Plant Genetic Resources Directorate. Eng. Obeidat’s major research interests are biodiversity, ecosystem management, plant taxonomy, and vegetation dynamics.
